I am very pleased with the progress that my son made as a result of the Dribbling clinic Coach Dale ran. When my son’s basketball coach saw him on the court, he said he could see a huge improvement in how Matthew was playing and that he was playing more confidently.”
Dale’s workouts are tough and challenging, focusing not only on skills development, but also on the underlying fitness required to maintain proper technique in the stress of a competitive game situation. I would highly recommend Dale as a trainer and coach.
GTA Training is always actively engaged in supporting the community and charitable causes here and in other parts of the world.
Help Send a GTA Kid to Camp!
GTA Training is aware that some boys and girls never have the chance to join in a sports training program.
You can send a GTA kid to basketball camp by contributing to our scholarship program. When you contribute, GTA Training will register a child who would otherwise have not participated in one of our quality athletic programs.
- It builds a child’s confidence, self esteem and promotes healthy activity.
- Every time we reach $300, that triggers sending a GTA kid to basketball camp
- A cause that has real impact!
Thank you for your support!
GTA TRAINing in Haiti
GTA Training had the opportunity to visit Haiti and volunteer in communities hit by the earthquake in 2011.
Many basketball workshops were run during the days in the two weeks GTA Training was there, working closely with local children. Toronto locals Dale Davis and Paul Campbell had the chance to teach the children of Haiti basketball fundamentals and teamwork skills through a variety of teambuilding exercises, drills, and games. GTA Training was invited to Haiti to volunteer by HUSU (Help Us Save Us).
The Canadian government recently stated kids need 60 minutes of exercise everyday. Only 12 out of 100 kids get as much exercise as they should.
